To fully enjoy the uncontaminated nature of Gambassi, nothing is better than a good hike! Put on your hiking boots and set out in search of hidden treasures among the richly wooded slopes.
Discover the warm springs called the Bollori, the Grotta della Vacca, and if you are an expert hiker, you can venture from the aqueduct of the Forra to the Grotta di Maurizio, discovering the fascinating story of the hermit who lived here at the beginning of the twentieth century.
The activity is suitable for children 6 years and older and over 65.
The half-day excursion is along a section of the Via Francigena with a turn off for the warm springs called the Bollori and the Grotta alla Vacca. It is 3 km and suitable for beginners.
The full day hike departs from the old aqueduct of the Forra and goes up to the grotto of Maurizio. It is 10 km and is of medium difficulty.
