Firenze and the Medici Villas
From the city centre – a site on the UNESCO World Heritage List – to Fiesole and the Medici Villas of Petraia and Castello: accompanied by our English-speaking personal guide, you will discover Florence and the Land of the Renaissance.
The departure is from Piazzale Michelangelo that gives us the most beautiful sight of the city. From here you’ll walk down towards Ponte Vecchio and the city center. Take the chance to visit the Grande Museo del Duomo: we recommend you climb the Giotto’s Bell Tower or reach the top of Brunelleschi’s dome! It’s everything but effortless…but it’s worthy the many steps! On the ground, don’t miss the Baptistery, one of the most surprising and beautiful monument of Florence!
The tour continues with a transfer to Fiesole. Here is an archaeological site not to be missed for those wishing to learn about the Etruscan roots of this region. And finally the Medici villas, the dynasty that ruled Florence in its heyday.
