The Pompone and Pola farmhouse is one of them. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It has been for decades, for generations, ever since in 1943, <strong>Nello Cioni decided to buy forty-six hectares of land, clearing the houses, olive groves and vineyards of brambles<\/strong>: for him it was <strong>a return to the land<\/strong>, a farmer&#8217;s son lent to office work.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A few seasons passed, but <strong>by the 1950s<\/strong> Nello was already hosting its first visitors, earning a respectable record: <strong>the first agritourism license in Gambassi<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At that time people were running away from the land, and yet, here they decided to put down roots and carry on the more traditional art of Tuscan hospitality.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=&#8221;2_5&#8243; Agriturismo Pompone e Pola is not simply a place, <strong>it is an out-of-time experience to find one&#8217;s stride<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Don&#8217;t expect wi-fi, it&#8217;s not there and there is no pool, nothing to add.
